60-year-old Margherita is a lonely librarian at a high school in a rough neighborhood in Jerusalem. She has a special relationship with 17-year-old Nehorai, an abandoned student by his mother and is on the verge of being expelled. Margherita uses poetry to get through to Nehorai. However, her poetic world is confronted by reality.
